High Desert Solar operates the Nation’s four megawatt generating array and sells into the regional grid under a twenty year purchase agreement. Revenue from the agreement is committed to the Nation’s general fund by ordinance.
The residential side installs rooftop systems for Tribal households at a subsidised rate. Ninety-four homes have been fitted since 2022, and the waiting list currently runs about seven months.
Applying. Households apply through the Housing Department, not through the enterprise directly.
