Sand Bench Cattle Company runs a commercial cow-calf operation on Tribal range and manages the Nation’s grazing permits. It is the oldest of the Nation’s chartered enterprises and the only one that predates the current business code.
The company works with the Land and Resources Department on range condition monitoring. Stocking rates are set jointly and published in the annual range report.
