Seasonal crew, Powwow and Fair
Fourteen positions across grounds setup, parking, the fair office and teardown. Two weeks before the powwow, the weekend itself, and the clear-up after.
Fourteen positions. Work runs from September 7 through September 25: setup for two weeks, the powwow weekend itself, and teardown the week after.
Grounds crew, eight positions. Arbor setup, bleachers, water, refuse and lighting. Physical work outdoors in all weather.
Parking and shuttle, four positions. North lot marshalling and running the shuttle to the arbor gate. A driver’s licence is needed for the shuttle posts.
Fair office, two positions. Exhibit entries, contestant registration and the information window. Comfortable computer use needed.
You need. To be 16 or over. That is the whole list for grounds and parking. Under 18 needs a parent or guardian signature and cannot work the night shift.
Apply at Human Resources or at the fair office from Thursday. Hiring is rolling and posts are filled as applications come in, so early is better than perfect.
