Solar Installer
Residential rooftop installation for Tribal households, plus maintenance on the generating array. Training provided; electrical experience helpful, not required.
Three positions. Most of the work is residential rooftop, with rotation onto maintenance at the four megawatt array on the south bench.
Required. A driver’s licence, a head for heights, and the ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
Not required. Prior solar experience. The enterprise trains, and two of the current crew came in from the apprenticeship with no background at all.
NABCEP certification is paid for by the enterprise after twelve months.
